How to Cook Hoffy Mini Smokies

Stove Top

  1. Add water to a deep skillet or sauce pot. Fill the pot with 2 to 3 inches of water.
  2. Turn the heat to medium-high. Heat to a slow boil.
  3. Remove Hoffy Mini Smokies from package and carefully add to the pot. Be sure not to overcrowd.
  4. Simmer. Simmer 2 to 4 minutes or until heated through completely.
  5. Remove with tongs and serve with your favorite sauces or dips.
  6. For children under 5 years: cut lengthwise, then slice into bite size pieces.

Oven

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Remove Hoffy Mini Smokies from package and place in a rimmed pan or tray. Line the pan with foil for extra easy cleanup.
  3. Cook for 12 to 14 minutes. Keep an eye on your Mini Smokies. You’ll know they’re done when you see them begin to brown.
  4. Serve. Use a potholder to remove the pan from the oven, serve with your favorite sauces and dips.
  5. For children under 5 years: cut lengthwise, then slice into bite size pieces.

Microwave

  1. Prep your links. Remove 5 links from package and place on a microwave safe plate, cover with a paper towel. Leave a little space in between each link so they cook evenly. Hoffy Hints: Don’t poke holes in your links! Piercing lets the delicious juices escape and your links dry out.
  2. Cook on high for 20 to 25 seconds or until hot. Let stand in the microwave for 1 minute before serving. Add 4 to 5 seconds for each additional link.
  3. Check in. When time is up, check to see if they’re warmed up all the way through. If not, microwave them another 10 seconds and test one again.
  4. Carefully remove your links using tongs. Trapped steam can burn.
  5. Serve. Add your favorite sauces and dips and enjoy!
  6. For children under 5 years: cut lengthwise, then slice into bite size pieces.
